I think that the real power consumption is higher / lower than Themo is showing, what can I do?

Themo has built-in capabilities to measure the power level of your underfloor heating. The internal measurement has a margin of error of 10%. In case of very low power levels, it may be impossible for Themo to read the correct value. In this case, the power level must be updated manually.

Adjusting power level manually

Here is a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Access the Heating Output setting

  • Open the app and navigate to Device > Settings > Configure deviceHeating output

Step 2: Enter the desired power output value

  • The minimum output value is 100W
  • The maximum output value is 3599W
  • The maximum output value for older firmware is 2999W (limited by the application)
  • Click on Save

Important! Changing the heating output value will reset thermostat learning process and it may take few days to adjust to the new settings.

Re-measuring power output

It is possible to re-measure the power output at any time. For example, if the unit is installed in a new location. When Remeasure power output is pressed, then the newly measured value will overwrite the entered value.
