Wi-Fi setup process does not work, says "connection lost" and loops back to the beginning

When you are configuring the Wi-Fi connection, the process might fail and loop you back to the beginning where it asks you to connect to Themo Wi-Fi again. After that, you are unable to complete the Wi-Fi setup.



The most common problems why it happens are:

  • Your phone mobile data is switched ON.
  • Your Wi-Fi password is incorrect.
  • You have moved too far from Themo and your phone has lost connection to the device.


To resolve the problem, please do the following:

1. Fully close the app and then open it again (restart the app).

2. Move to Wi-Fi configuration.

3. Once you have started again the step 1/3 of Configuring Themo: "Connect to Themo's Wi-Fi" (see picture above), do the following:

3.1. Shut off the mobile data of your phone (it might cause switching between networks).

3.2. Make sure you enter the correct Wi-Fi password (this is the most common mistake).

3.3. Do not move further than 5 meters from your Themo thermostat during the process.
