How to Delete your Themo account

We understand that your privacy and control over your data are important. If you wish to delete your Themo account, please follow the steps below by sending a deletion request to our support team at support@themo.io. Please note that by deleting your account, certain types of data will be permanently removed, while others may be retained for a specified period. 

Steps to request deletion of your Themo account:

1. 1. Compose an Email:

   • Open your email client and compose a new email.

2. 2. Subject: Request for Account Deletion:

   • In the subject line, clearly state "Request for Account Deletion."

3. 3. Provide Account Information:

   • In the body of the email, include the following information:
     • Your Full Name
     • Registered Email Address
     • Any additional account verification details, if required by Themo support team.

4. 4. State Your Intent:

   • Clearly express your intention to delete your Themo account and request the support team to assist in this process.

5. 5. Send Email to support@themo.io:

   • Address the email to support@themo.io and hit send.

6. 6. Confirmation Email:

   • Once your request is received, you may receive a confirmation email from our support team with further instructions or a verification process.

Types of Data Deleted:

When your Themo account is deleted, the following types of data are typically permanently removed:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, and any other personal details you provided during account setup.
• Usage Data: Information about your interactions within the app, devices you have created and all collected measurement data for such devices.

Types of Data Retained and Retention Period:

Some data may be retained for a specified period for legal or operational reasons:

• Anonymous Usage Data:

  • Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes but will not be linked to your personal information.
  • Retention Period: 90 days.

• Backup Copies:

  • Backup copies of your data may be retained for a limited time to ensure the integrity of the service.
  • Retention Period: 30 days.
