Themo supports different floor temperature sensors available on the market. To show correct temperature values the correct sensor type must be selected. Themo automatically selects a sensor value it assumes to be correct during the configuration process, however it is possible to adjust this if needed.
Note! Selecting wrong temperature sensor type can cause overheating of your floor.
To change the floor temperature sensor type you have two options: Mobile app or Webapp.
Change the Floor Sensor Type via the mobile app
Open the Themo mobile app on your mobile device.
1. On the front page of the app, select the device for which you want to change the sensor type.
2. Click on the Gear wheel icon on the top right corner to open the settings.
3. Click on Configure device -> Floor Sensor Type -> Select the correct value, and click on ''Change Sensor''.
Note! Changing the Temperature sensor value will reset the thermostat's learning process and it may take a few days for it to adjust to the new settings.
Change floor sensor type via the webapp
Go to app.themo.io with your browser (e.g. Chrome) and log in using your user name and password:
1. Select Device Info page from top right menu or click on icon top left corner.
2. Scroll down to the Device system info.
3. Select the new Sensor type.
If during the installation you used Themo's own temperature sensor (sold separately), then select 10 kOhm from the dropdown menu (default value). For all other types please refer to the manufacturer.
It may take few minutes for the new temperature to show correctly.
