Introduction to schedule limit

Themo pre-heats your floor/room before high price periods. Scheduled limit is the maximum preheating temperature allowed to heat up to. When adding new schedule then the limit is set automatically 3 degrees for floor heating devices and 1.5 degrees for room heating devices.

It's important to note that the higher the Schedule Limit, the greater the potential savings, because more heat can be stored in the floor or room. However, it's critical to ensure that the Schedule Limit is not set too high which may cause discomfort or may damage your heating system or floor in the long run. Always check with your underfloor heating specification and floor manufacturer what the recommended maximum temperature to be used is.

Schedule limit is overruled by the Safety Temperature feature used for floor heating devices.

Setting schedule limit

1. Open mobile app and navigate to Device > Settings > Schedule limit
2. Use the temperature selector to change the limit
3. Press Save button to set the limit
   
   

Note! Schedule limit is only used device is in Schedule Mode and not with Manual Mode.

Monitoring schedule limit

Schedule and schedule limit make up the minimum and maximum temperature range for Themo to adjust and optimise heating. When setting schedule then the minimum temperature is modified and when setting schedule limit then the maximum temperature is modified. 

The active temperature range can be seen when heating history is opened. Temperature range is the grey area in the chart:
